Corporate Main Stream Media is complicit

Corporate media has been a willing co-conspirator in the Russian Collusion Hoax.

When I assessed the 2016 ICA initially I did a strictly textual analysis. I did not "fact check" the assessment, but examined its internal logic and coherence, as well as the ramifications of its conclusions. That was enough to reveal the ICA as "Fake News".

Corporate media could have easily done the same thing, and arguably was obligated to do the same thing. They did not.

Instead, they promoted the bias and the ideology of the ICA itself. That's not journalism and never was.

So who on the corporate media end of this could or should be held accountable ?

The reporters, the producers/editors, the CEOs…all of the above, none of the above.

Ethically, the whole corporate media establishment should be held accountable for putting the Russia Collusion Hoax on blast.

The ICA was made public on January 6, 2017. On January 7, 2017, I gave chapter and verse on how it was fake news.

That was how obviously bogus it was then. For the corporate media establishment not to have looked at it critically and called it out for the propaganda BS it clearly was is itself shameful (or at least it would be if the corporate media chattering class had any capacity for shame and embarrassment).

Legally the question is far murkier. To what degree was anyone within the corporate media establishment complicit in the conspiracy? What proof is there of that complicity?

Without the materials Tulsi Gabbard released today, arguing criminality on the part of Clapper, Comey, et al, over the ICA would be a stretch--political bias is not in and of itself criminal. With those materials we are quickly catapulted over the question of whether or not there was a crime committed into the question of which crimes are most worthy of prosecution.

Barring some additional reveal from the ODNI, I doubt you will see any investigations or indictments of corporate media figures over the Russia Collusion Hoax. However, corporate media demonstrably failed to ask critical questions regarding the ICA, or to challenge its findings. That was rank journalistic incompetence.

Corporate media lied to the American public about the Russia Collusion Hoax, just like they lied about COVID, just like they lied about Joe Biden's mental incapacity.

Thanks for the explanation.

It just would be nice to see one, just one, face some type of accountability. If nothing else to get rid of the excessive obsessive editorializing instead of just honest journalistic reporting.

But I get it wanting it and proving something are 2 completely different animals.

There have been some subtle changes in the nightly news landscape. Lester, “the Jester” Holt and Nora “DC Rose” O Donnell have been put out to pasture. It’s a start.

Without true journalists like yourself we’d be lost. Thank God for you.

You are certainly entitled to say, “I told you so”, Peter! Your amazing mind is so good that I’m never even mildly surprised when you are right once again. Of course you are.

I’m not a lawyer, and have no idea what crimes the characters like Brennan, Comey, and others can be charged with, legally. But these kinds of political misdeeds are going to keep happening until individuals are prosecuted for their misdeeds - and I’m not interested in their convoluted excuses! We need to be a nation of laws, not political maneuvering.

I’m thinking that Federal statutes prohibiting the use of government assets for personal gain might be useful. This situation goes way beyond the commingling of policies with politics.

Perjury is another charge, since everyone except Obama testified before Congress multiple times.
