Is it something in the air there or the water or are the lobbyists who run the place somehow busy elsewhere? President Trumps biggest problem will be this entire band of thugs and crooks squatting in my Congress.

Well, swamp gases are known to be quite toxic as a rule, so we perhaps shouldn’t be surprised that longtime swamp residents are generally bat sh*t crazy.

But youj’re right: Congress is going to be Donald Trump’s biggest headache.

Of course, my inner historian is almost gleeful, because I get to spend the next four years drawing parallels between Donald Trump and both Andrew Jackson and Grover Cleveland. (Being equal parts geek and nerd does have its bright spots! :D)

🤣🤔I await your analysis. Interesting times to say the least. Did that pay raise, immunity malarkey get canned? How would that sneaky bit of no see um stand in the end. Who put that in?

My current understanding is that the entire bill was pulled, as Speaker Johnson didn't have the votes (he intended to ram it through with a series of parliamentary procedures which require a two thirds vote, which he didn't have even with Democratic backing).

So everything is theoretically off the table right now. How long that lasts....we shall soon see!

Everybody in government is spoiled rotten. There will be some kind of painful reckoning as a result. Unfortunately, it will probably be more painful for you and me than for them.

Depends on how intense the rebellion becomes. The reckoning for government is always rebellion of one form or another.

In case you don't know, the Cowboys are toast, this season at least.

Pay as you play, should be the law, you, sir, have a logical answer which will never be implemented.

Thanks Peter.

I don’t follow football much. But I live in Texas so I can safely judge the fortunes of the Cowboys by the amount of complaining I hear when I’m out and about on Mondays. :D
