“Facts, schmacts! Trump is doing it and I hate Trump, so it’s a bad thing!” - every progressive for the next 4 years.

Most likely.

And the facts will still not give one tinker’s damn about their feelings.

Great explanation. Linking it today @https://nothingnewunderthesun2016.com/ and I hope others will read it. You have a good knack for explaining things in a way most people can understand; with facts of course!!

These findings explain why it was always about what can we tax now, not what can we cut. Too much government waste, no oversight and agencies failing to comply with congressional and senatorial requests for information. Trump and Musk are right to expose their findings. The little people who pay their bills every month with less and less want to see more of this and have these programs cut. The other people hate Trump so much that none of what Doge finds matters to them. Facts do matter and once again America has disgraced itself. We created the COVID virus which destroyed millions of lives and livelihoods and paid Hamas to slaughter 1200 people on October 7th, leading to more death and destruction. These behaviors must stop and the responsible parties must be punished. I mean made an example of! If it comes out that USAID funds were used to create a report used to impeach Trump in his first term, well that's another serious problem. Thanks for the great reporting Peter.

"All facts matter, and the facts are all that matters. Narratives not so much."

How many red flags does DOGE see?

At last count, somewhere around a Googol.

The USAID debacle is a forest of red flags all by itself.

Once again, Peter, you make so many valid points, and are so admirably grounded in facts. You are the poster boy for what human reasoning is capable of being. Thank you.
