This is akin to the Hilary Clinton off-site email investigation - she did it, but no reasonable jury would convict her - the new liberal standard where the prosecutor announces the crime, then takes the place of the jury - how brazen.
There is a striking parallel between Robert Hur's report and FBI Director James Comey's infamous presentation to the media where he laid out the case for a prosecution of Hillary Clinton then said there would be no prosecution.
Robert Hur found evidence Biden engaged in the same behaviors and committed the same acts vis-a-vis classified documents for which Donald Trump was indicted, but it was pointless to indict because Biden would simply skate because he would appear as a doddering old fool of questionable mental competency.
Of course, this was always going to be the problem for Biden regarding a Special Counsel report--unless the report completely exonerated him (which it could not just on the basis of what had been publicly reported by corporate media), the report was always going to set up a comparison between how Trump was treated and how Biden was treated. That's never a public debate that could be favorable to the Democrats.
But Robert Hur went one step further and presented evidence of Biden's declining mental faculties. If the Democrats accept the report they have to accept Robert Hur's proof that Biden really is a doddering old fool. If they reject the report as political or somesuch they have to explain how it is that Jack Smith's actions vis-a-vis Trump are not political.
There is no scenario where a public discussion of the Hur report benefits either Joe Biden or the Democrats during this election cycle.
