There will be no deep dive into the poll data or election returns from the Michigan Primary. There is no need—everything that would be said I have already said in discussing New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina.
Trump won. Haley lost. Again.
The only comment that I will make is that Trump did “underperform”. The latest polls had him at 76%, and he “only” got 68% of the vote. However, at that level of support poll accuracy alone becomes extremely problematic, so there is nothing significant to read into that one anomaly. If future primary votes come closer than this then possibly there is something to analyze, but without that future data, no more needs to be said.
Trump won. Haley lost. Again.
Is the wicked witch refusing to give up her belief that Trump won’t be around for the 2024 election and she’ll somehow ascend to the nomination?
I would bet that this is about far more than just Trump the man. People have been waking up to the corruption of the Covid lies, the severity of the problem with the Deep State, and the extent to which our country has drifted away from founding principles and values. People are through with being tolerant and polite with Wokism, and are uniting behind a way to steer the country back to common sense.
I don’t have the link anymore, but a few weeks ago Rebel News in Canada reported poll results regarding Justin Trudeau. Just 24% of Canadians now approve of him. Twenty-four percent! Culturally, the Western world’s tide may be turning. Remember when Reagan said, “It’s a new morning in America!”? It’s hard to quantify, but I think people would like to have that sentiment again.
