Short Takes On Major Events
I have been experimenting with ways to deliver relatively brief writeups of ongoing news events, rolling them out as a standalone page similar to a “Live Update” page that one would find on a major news media outlet. That hasn’t worked the way I wanted—Substack doesn’t provide the linking and embedding for sections within a page, apparently.
I’m starting this section as a “web/app only” section. It will not be delivered to people’s email inboxes by default—I want to be respectful of people’s inboxes and not “spam” them every time I post a minor commentary.
If you wish to receive these to your inbox simply add “Brief Matters” to the list of subscribed sections on your account by toggling the appropriate item.
The operative phrase here is “pardon the dust!” This is a constant work in progress!
