I am thankful that at least one congressman sees his role rightly. I hope to see this bill or something similar every session until it is passed. Then the CIA, then the FBI, then the IRS... in time the government would once again come to resemble the entity that was envisioned in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
It would be a tectonic shift in the way Congress discharges its duties if it did come to fruition.
Much of the dysfunction of Washington as well as the several states would resolve itself if We The People insisted government remain within its Constitutionally defined boundaries. Ignoring those boundaries has not served us well at all.
