Score one victory for the First Amendment and religious freedom—an early casualty of the Pandemic Panic Narrative, when churches were forced to suspend regular worship for fear of the flu.
Judge Steven Merryday issued the following injunction against the Department of Defense and the U.S. Marine Corps:
"The defendants are PRELIMINARILY ENJOINED (1) from enforcing against a member of the class any order, requirement, or rule to accept COVID-19 vaccination, (2) from separating or discharging from the Marine Corps a member of the class who declines COVID-19 vaccination, and (3) from retaliating against a member of the class for the member's asserting statutory rights under RFRA (Religious Freedom Restoration Act)."
While not the end of the battle to preserve religious freedom in this country, this ruling is one more small victory for the Constitution as the Supreme Law of the United States.
Good news....... I'm from Canada....I am riding on this piece of good news....there isn't much here these days.....
Keep the faith. The days might be dark but they are not yet done.
🤗 --- Now, do the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
While the injunction is specific, the precedent would be operative across all branches of the military.
And make sure they're not messing with the college kids.
