The Independent is reporting that a children's hospital in Mariupol has been completely demolished by a Russian air strike.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the strike as an “atrocity” and said there were children beneath the rubble.
The Geneva Conventions expressly forbid targeting hospitals unless they are being used by combatants in a non-medical capacity (e.g., storing munitions). Thus far there is no report that such was the case here.
