Nord Stream and now this. Are Russian reprisals on the horizon?

Depends on what the reprisals would be. Right now the Russian Army is having a tough just standing and fighting.

And a nuclear response over a bridge seems a bit like an overreaction, wouldn't you say?

Who said anything about nukes? Responding with nukes here would be like shooting a kid for stealing a Kit-Kat.

More like tit for tat. Eye for an eye. You steal my girl, I steal yours. Though I always wondered how that could be a sure bet. You're not assured to get the girl. Anyway. In this case, they blew up part of a bridge, Russia goes and blows up a bridge somewhere.

Just one small problem with that sort of retaliation. According to TASS, the driver was from Krasnodar Krai--part of Russia, and mostly ethnic Russians.

Not quite sure what that means, but it does make it a bit more difficult to pin the bombing squarely on Ukraine.

They haven't taken credit for it from what I've heard.
