The Donbass is part of Ukraine, and an internal Ukrainian civil conflict does not give Russia leave to bomb Odessa and Kiev, which are nowhere near the Donbass.
Russia has neither the political, nor the legal, nor the moral standing to issue such "warnings".

Russia does not have a legitimate casus belli.
They fired the first shots. They dropped the first bombs. They are fighting in a sovereign nation, not Mother Russia.
