Great analysis. Seems Kendall vs US and the two ultimately failed impeachments of Trump cast a vindictive shroud over what Smith and company are about. I’m not a Trump guy either, but it’s certainly clear to any unbiased observer what the Democrats are trying to do. It’s despicable and profoundly destructive to the republic. Really difficult to envision a sane election next year.

Thanks for the deep dive, Peter - excellent dissection of a disturbing subject.

Thanks!

But wait...there's more!

This whole clown show got me to thinking seriously about the significant of the impeachment process. I am fairly convinced that the Democrats committed a strategic blunder of epic proportions with their frivolous impeachments of Trump. They failed to heed Jonathan Turley's advice to "go slow" and build a proper case for impeachment rather than simply going through the motions the way they did.

I've got a followup to this article on deck focusing on the impeachment process itself.

Trump freak out mode for his entire time in office - and beyond. Looking forward to your impeachment piece.

The facts of this case are utterly irrelevant to the motive, which is to torpedo Trump’s chances of winning re-election. It is lawfare, plain and simple. Jack Smith, et al. couldn’t give a rat’s ass about winning a conviction of Trump, their Democrat masters told them to indict him for anything and everything and drag him into court as often and as inconveniently as possible. Hell, NY got a summary judgment and not one journalist or Democrat (same thing really) said “Hmmm, I thought we had due process in this country. Shouldn’t there be a trial before a guilty decision? Ah, it’s Trump, it’s fine!”

The irony is that their strategy is not really working. If anything, it's made Trump MORE electable.

True. But I have friends who wouldn’t vote for Trump if the devil himself were the Dem candidate. He provokes a visceral hatred unlike any other.

Just look at the vile. malevolent, disgusting FACE of that POS Smith. As Abraham Lincoln said, anyone over 40 is responsible for his own face. His vacant, soul-less stare is like one who is ALREADY in the Hell he doesn't believe in, but will in fact be there.
