An interesting tactical development along the Kherson front has unfolded in the past few days. Ukraine has been launching a variety of attacks on the Kinburn Spit and the Kinburn Peninsula, which lie south of Kherson City and offer a natural chokepoint to maritime traffic seeking to access either the Dnipro or the Bug Rivers.
Maybe the Ukrainians look forward to fighting during the winter in order to stay warm.
But, seriously, war is such a round-about way to make Putin see the error of his ways.
Reminds me of chess pieces: One King, many pawns. Why must all the pawns die first? Should be the other way round. (Has the game of chess been spreading "disinformation" all these years?)
