I keep having in my mind the stock cartoon image of the falling piano with the unsuspecting pedestrian on the sidewalk walking nonchalantly along.

The difference right now is that Mr. World Citizen seems to be unaware of a piano falling from not just one, but almost every skyscraper.

Surely all those pianos will eventually make a sufficient racket and be a noticeable pattern?

The US COVID data is skewed in the opposite direction of China's. Where China understates mortality, the US overstates it.

The question is how do we rid ourselves of these shill quacks? How do we force the 'germ chasers' back into their labs? They've taken way too much space these past two years. My fear is that behavioural scientists are about to grab the spotlight.

Lockdowns are not nearly as widely supported now as they were, and even Fauci has conceded that COVID is here to stay. Those are signature qualitative differences between where the West is on COVID and Xi Jinping.

The government response to COVID-19 has been and remains incompetent and destructive. Yet it is still far better than what Xi Jinping is determined to impose on China.
