There are a lot of us that just want to reelect him to stick it to the regime. I don’t care about his policies (though they were generally very good), I don’t care about his mean tweets (though, I find him hilarious and clever), and I don’t care about whatever trumped up charge they have this week. I heard something interesting a month or so back, if you believe the institutions can be saved--Desantis is your President, if you believe they are beyond saving--Trump is your vote. Very accurate in my case.

In most cases, the institutions of government are the problem. We don't need to fix or save them, we need to eliminate them.

The amount of time and energy put into the coverage and examination of charges against Trump leaves a lot less air in the room to look at the alleged criminal activities by Joe Biden and family.

Next, after they get Trump, they will be coming after us gun owners. And there will be so many cases that they will have to resort to Judge, Jury, and Executioner.

The AR-15 was invented in 1959. Nineteen Hundred and Fifty Nine. I was 3 years old.

But, it wasn't used in a mass shooting till when? After the use of SSRI drugs (by children).

And the democrats still have time to vilify and demonize one of their own candidates--RFK jr. Disgusting beyond belief in both instances. I no longer consider myself a democrat, liberal or progressive. However I am politically marooned. We dance with a 2 faced devil. They just take turns leading. I feel no effort to support our broken system at this point. None.

A Trump Kennedy ticket would be almost as interesting as a Trump Kennedy debate.

True. If I could whip up any enthusiasm for it. Interesting but would it be good for us mere mortals here in the USA? Just another WWF of political theater at this point. I’m 75. Seen it all. Over it all. Of course that is now—who knows.

Trump and Kennedy at least have the redeeming virtue of substance. Folks might not agree with everything they want to do, but at least they want to do something.

Yes - substance. Watching Kennedy's testimony this week reveals the heart of so many tired of the polarization. He's an excellent communicator and he's put feet and action to his words. I'm stunned the Democrats aren't rallying behind him especially with his passion for the environment and he's accomplished a lot against Big Agriculture. I will never agree 100% with anyone but I have great respect for Kennedy and he really loves this country with compassion for the immigrants. He seems to be driven by common sense and what is right rather than by Party-Politics, I think this is also why Trump is appealing, both have spent time in the real world and are not career politicians, they listen to and sympathize with the common man. I'm conservative but depending on how things unfold, I will ask for a Democratic Primary ballot and vote Kennedy for the Primary.

The Democratic Party is driven by the lust for power for the Democratic Party. The analogy between them and the CCP is fairly accurate.

The Republican Establishment is only slightly less authoritarian and fascist.

Neither Trump nor Kennedy are actual authorarians, although some of what they want to do can be problematic in that regard, which is why the party bosses on both sides cannot abide either Trump or Kennedy.

I agree. I’m biding my time. Maybe my pessimism will lessen and a tipping point to sanity is coming. Not sure it was ever sane though 😵‍💫🤔
