If President Trump is royally irked this morning, he has good reason to be. He has improved the economy by several metrics; his policies have created job growth and economic expansion. He has created Trump Accounts for 60 million children, he has reduced the poverty rate to the lowest level in the history of our nation. He has eliminated taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security. He has played nice with the IRGC, going back to negotiations repeatedly. If Trump woke up this morning thinking, “No more Mr. Nice Guy!”, I wouldn’t blame him. Lead on, Mr. President!

Apparently a lot of voters don't want jobs. They want free stuff. And a substantial portion think old yt boomers owe them.

And they’re clueless about the real world, aren’t they? This boomer is living on ANNUAL Social Security income of $14,184! Apparently, the young think all retired people are taking endless luxury cruises, when actually that’s just the subset who inherited money. A big indulgence for ME is buying fresh fruit. It’s only because I’m the Queen of stretching a dollar that I can afford ko-fi tips and donations to political candidates. I don’t owe the young anything except the continuation of the free nation our forefathers created . And those young idiots are throwing it all away!

I'm right there with you sister. I was glad to hear Republicans had so much more cash this year so I could stop giving 25 here and there. Lot of good it did them having all that money. I'm thinking we've entered the phase of democracy deToqueville warned about where the greed of the voting public bankruptcy us.

Exactly right! How many times I’ve thought deToqueville was right - that once the voters realize they can get “free stuff” by voting in people who will just hand out free stuff, well, that’s the fatal flaw in democracy…
