There are lies, damned lies, and then there are CDC statements.
Amazingly, the CDC is attempting to gaslight everyone with an astoundingly false claim that myocarditis arising from the mRNA inoculations was not known to them before October of last year.
In response to a FOIA request by The Epoch Times, the CDC had this to say:
The “The National Center for Emerging Zoonotic Infectious Diseases performed a search of our records that failed to reveal any documents pertaining to your request,” Roger Andoh, a CDC records officer, told The Epoch Times. The center is part of the CDC.
No abstractions or reports were available because “an association between myocarditis and mRNA COVID-19 vaccination was not known at that time,” Andoh added.
In April 2021, increased cases of myocarditis and pericarditis were reported in the United States after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna). Data from multiple studies show a rare risk for myocarditis and/or pericarditis following receipt of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.
If reports were received by the CDC as early as April of 2021, it is inconceivable there would be no internal discussion or debate over the significance of these reports. That discussion and debate would be an intrinsic part of the process to establish or reject a causal link between the inoculations and cases of myocarditis.
An elevated risk for myocarditis among mRNA COVID-19 vaccinees has been observed, particularly in males aged 12–29 years.
The CDC’s own advisory panel actively discussed myocarditis as a risk of the inoculations long before October. Their own publicly available documents prove it.
Although a causal relationship between vaccination and the development of myopericarditis cannot be concluded from a case series, the clustering in time as well as the uncommon occurrence of myopericarditis and the rapid resolution of symptoms and findings likely make this a unique vaccine-related event.
The CDC knew. Everyone knew. And well before October.
The CDC is lying and trying to cover up the truth.
3 August 2022: added link to CDC MMWR article discussing myocarditis risk from mRNA inoculations.

For those who are interested, I have taken the liberty of bolstering the factual basis for this thread with a link to an article from the CDC's own Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, dated July 9, 2021, that specifically addresses myocarditis risks from the inoculations.
Funny (or not), I was checking Kaiser's vaccine info to see if they offered Novavax yet, and they noted that they would offer covid vaccine medical exemptions ONLY for people who had anaphylaxis or had developed myocarditis and pericarditis after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination.
