Governments exist to govern. They don't exist to "educate." Governments exist to socialize and pacify, pretending it's "education."

I almost feel like the GOP candidates outside of Trump is just a sideshow to distract us. None of them will abolish anything like the Department of Education--they can barely register outrage about their leading candidate being politically persecuted.

It is difficult to take most of them seriously.

Ok , church and chores are done so I finished reading your article. I don’t think you’ll ever get the satisfaction of hearing that the DOE is unconstitutional and illegal . Now will we ever hear that taxation without representation via appointed regulatory agencies is illegal . Nor that it’s not the job of the federal government to redistribute income . Based on their website, they received $270 billion dollars for 2023, the vast majority of which is for federal student aid , in other words, woke academia is being paid to brainwash our children by the DOE through financial aid. As wonderful as closing down the DOE would be, barring a revolution, I think the best we can hope for is that parents will continue to fight the local school districts when they try to brainwash their children , or even more, that more parents will withdraw their children.

I would love to say you are wrong and that we will hear politicians say these things and act upon them.

However, you are not wrong.

My hope is that enough people will say these things that politicians will be forced to hear them. In a way, my hope is for a revolution. I want to change people's hearts and minds.

It might not happen all at once, but every person who comes to rethink the role government should play in their daily life is one small victory. That's a start.

I am reminded of 1 Samuel 8:11-17. It’s hard to get people to reject (expensive)“free” stuff.

The Department of Education is the problem. Instead of focusing on basic education, they and the teachers union are pushing LGBT+pedo rainbow brigade nonsense.

Our children aren’t learning important concepts about work, honesty, and integrity. They are learning activism and social justice crap.

The most important thing that is wrong with the Department of Education is that it is illegal.

Just like the FBI, ATF, CIA, Department of energy, EPA, etc. None of them were ever mentioned in the Constitution.

They abuse the “elastic clause” .
