He didn’t lower the federal funds rate as Trump wanted. Peter, do you get the sense that he still will be acceptable enough for Trump to consider him on Trump’s “side”?

If job growth numbers remain as they have for the next few months I doubt Trump is going to see much reason to complain about interest rates.

Before the jobs recovery began, there was a strong case for interest rate reduction as a monetary stimulus to boost employment. That's less of a concern, with less of a compelling case for rate reduction.

Right now I don't see Trump taking aim at Kevin Warsh.
