No, I don’t think the Europeans will think it’s worth it, and they will likely shift political inclinations as a result. We’ve already started to see this in multiple countries. Some of the economic consequences thus far - especially in Germany - have been so severe that political change is almost a certainty, don’t you think?

Germany’s government lost a no-confidence vote last week. France’s government also fell. People in the UK are talking about Nigel Farage as the next British Prime Minister (A summit involving Pierre Polievre as Canadian PM, Nigel Farage as British PM, and Donald Trump as US President would be absolutely LIT!).

Political change is definitely coming to Europe. Remains to be seen what impact that change will have on the war in Ukraine. Even those who most want the war to end will find that stopping it is at present a bit more of a complex situation than anyone wnats to admit.
