This Is Why "Amnesty" Is Not Possible: Researchers Are Still Playing God With Viruses

Sadly but not surprisingly, we now know that Boston University was not the only research facility playing mix-n-match genes with variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Imperial College London has also been engaging in recreational “research” by splicing spike proteins from either the Omicron or Delta variants of the virus onto the original Wuhan strain.

Hamsters were infected with mutant viruses, blends of the original Wuhan strain and parts of either Omicron or Delta. 

Critics of the research, carried out by Imperial College London, called it 'insanity' and warned the lab trials could, in theory, unleash a new viral threat. Twenty scientists were involved in the project, including one who sits on the Government's advisory panel SAGE.

As was made plain in the Boston Univeristy “research”, there is no scientific merit to these experiments. None.

For virologists (let us not conflate these misbegotten “researchers” with actual scientists) to frivolously and foolishly manipulate demonstrably dangerous pathogens is tantamount to playing multiple games of Russian Roulette—eventually, the hammer falls on a loaded chamber. If this sort of useless and pointless non-research is allowed to continue, it is a mathematical certainty that there will be a new outbreak of laboratory-created infectious disease.

It is because of Faucist foolishness such as this that the recently suggested “pandemic amnesty” cannot happen. So long as the Faucists persist in their belief that they have done nothing wrong, they remain an existential threat to humanity.

Sadly, that is not an exaggeration.
