Sadly but not surprisingly, we now know that Boston University was not the only research facility playing mix-n-match genes with variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
I’m not anti-science, and I believe that *prudent* measures to protect our nation from future pandemics are worth looking into. But I can’t see ANY reasons for this kind of risky Frankenvirus work, other than overweening hubris on the part of researchers, or bio weapons development. Neither of those reasons are valid or remotely ethical.
One wonders if one of the factors that led Russia to invade Ukraine was the presence of multiple biological “research labs” in Ukraine…
Hmmm. I'm thinking Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God. He's the only way we're going to "enjoy peace worldwide" - and it'll be for a millenium.
