Is your title just click bait.? Even if the numbers are real, but who knows anymore, and they'll probably get revised. I really don't see what Trump has to do with any of it, What specifically did he do to influence any of this. His only financial strategy thus far is on again, off again tariffs, which companies have been eating so far,
As you state food prices are still up. Gas being delivered is down, well it's summer, so that's a given. Rent index looks like normal fluctuations. And as you say oil prices are heading back up.
Guess I'm not as optimistic as you are, Peter, but still will be linking your take.
Thank you once again for clear data, Peter. And God bless President Trump for his leadership and working policies!
Remember Kamala’s lame tactic of saying her campaign was about “joy”? All of the voters struggling to pay for food and housing responded, “yeah, right”. Well, now the Left has a “rallying tactic” of “No kings!” Oh please! Have you ever heard a MAGA supporter call for Trump to be crowned King? Have you ever heard a Republican refer to Trump as “King Trump”? This new tactic is so laughable that even people on the Left will be thinking wait, I haven’t heard of any push to make him King. Trump isn’t saying he should be King. He isn’t acting like a King - he’s acting like a President!
If the highly-staged and deeply funded “protests” this weekend fizzle (although the corporate media will never say so), then we will know that Trump is winning the hearts and minds of American citizens. And thank you always, Peter, for your efforts to showcase the facts!
Definitely food prices are not lowering around me. I drive 7 miles to fill my tank in another state that is 50 to 60 cents cheaper per gallon. I also shop a grocery store there. Midwest.
We would need to see deflation before we would see any drop in absolute prices.
Prices are too high for most people, and wages need to rise further relative to prices to restore the 2021 relative price levels, but if prices are not moving dramatically higher wages have that chance to play catch-up.

Gas prices rise in the summer usually. Natural gas maybe goes down.
And that's what I was referring to - gas prices delivered and not gas at the pump!
And yet not a single mainstream media outlet will point this out. Shocking.
