But, but, but I thought China had it right! Sweden was wrong!

Someone who lives in British Columbia was telling me in a conversation how disturbed she was to hear locals say how they felt China has it right with the hard lockdowns.

As for China self-sabotaging. It's a form of shutting itself off to the world in some ways. Historically, when the country possessed the technology to begin its own age of exploration it began to look inward to the point of obscurity while Europe took off.

Just an observation.

An observation I have made myself.

While it would be an exaggeration to argue that Zero COVID is the equivalent of the Ming Dynasty burning the Great Treasure Fleet in the 15th century, a good case can be made for Zero COVID being a case of history rhyming.

Apparently not.

Oh, and their "vaccine" is about as effective as the mRNA inoculations, although they may be somewhat less toxic.
