Ever since Woodrow Wilson and FDR, the Democrats have embraced government as a societal good far more than the Republicans. Which is ironic given that the first progressive President, Theodore Roosevelt, was a Republican.
But it makes them more cognizant of the potentials inherent in government power, which is itself a level of corruption.
Is it me or does it appear Democrats seem to be more culpable in this kind of behaviour?
