I think it’s more sinister than that at least here in NSW. I can’t believe that they can’t see it (plausible denial) I’ve seen them reformat the data, change definitions or just not report it when it starts to become obvious that their narrative is flawed. Here’s another example of “data-crime”, just went to check if our bureau of statistics were “taking out the trash” near Christmas, and found this note, they know what they’re doing, the January release probably doesn’t give them enough time to cook the books by the normal release date with them all being public servants and being on summer holidays.
“The Provisional Mortality report in its usual format will not be released in late January. Instead, a short article will be published, including only summary content”
I wouldn’t wish bullets as a solution anywhere. I have friends and family that experienced and some even fought in the Croatian War of Independence and I have heard their stories over beers, not something I’d like to see happen to anyone anywhere.
Arguing the finer technical details with my auntie about whether her garage was was hit by a missile, artillery shell or a mortar is not a conversation I’d thought I’d ever have. 😀

Sadly, all too true.
Ballots are failing to enforce accountability. Bullets are likely to be necessary.

I don't want to see bullets fly anywhere.
I'm just seeing fewer and fewer alternatives.
I really hope for everyone’s sake it doesn’t come to that.🤷♂️
