We can safely call what has happened in California an insurrection. As readers are aware, this I have done. This I will continue to do—I have provided the factual evidences and I consider the argument made.
We also have evidence the California Insurrection has been spreading, with violence being reported in San Francisco, Dallas, and Austin.
Now we must address that the Democrats and their chosen “grass roots” activist groups are attempting to push the insurrection even further afield.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, extremist groups like the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), Indivisible, and the 50501 Movement say they’re organizing over 1,800 demonstrations in all 50 states. These protests, which are expected to become violent, are meant to disrupt law and order, vilify President Trump, and demonize Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for doing its job.
Readers are advised to take the warning published earlier on the Wholistic Substack seriously this weekend.
So let’s recap: we have rock-throwers, naive seniors, angry college students, immigration activists, and potential MAGA counterprotesters showing up, not to mention jihadists and black pilled incels waiting in the wings. Never mind the foreign interests who could use US chaos for their own ends.
For these reasons, I advise STAYING AWAY FROM CROWDS this weekend. Hell, you don’t need to be psychic to see the potential for mayhem.
At this point, anticipating violence is not being psychic, or even alarmist. It is extrapolating along the established trend line.
Where there have been ICE protests, there has been violence.
We should therefore anticipate that where there will be ICE protests, there will be violence.
Even corporate media is acknowledging that the planned protests for this weekend are intended to be provocative.
More demonstrations against the immigration raids began popping up in other cities, including Austin, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco, this week.
Activists are planning more and even larger demonstrations in the coming days, with so-called "No Kings" events across the country on Saturday to coincide with Mr. Trump's planned military parade through Washington.
Given the events of the past few days, there is no great leap of logic needed to equate the intentionally provocative nature of the planned protests with violence. Violence and insurrection have been the hallmark of these protests thus far, and there is zero reason to presume violence will not continue to be the hallmark.
This is why Texas Governor Greg Abbott is proactively deploying the Texas National Guard.
Without mentioning San Antonio specifically, Abbott's press secretary, Andrew Mahaleris, told the Express-News that National Guard soldiers "are on standby in areas where mass demonstrations are planned in case they are needed.
"Peaceful protests are part of the fabric of our nation, but Texas will not tolerate the lawlessness we have seen in Los Angeles," Mahaleris said in a statement Tuesday night. "Anyone engaging in acts of violence or damaging property will be swiftly held accountable to the full extent of the law."
The violence in Dallas and Austin was warning enough. Unlike the execrable and seditious Gavin Newsom, Governor Abbott does not intend to see even one city in Texas descend into insurrection, anarchy, and lawlessness. As Abbott pointed out in retweeting a Texas DPS statement on the violence in Dallas and Austin, “Don’t mess with Texas law enforcement.”
The Texas DPS position is equally blunt: violence is not tolerated.
Gavin Newsom, for his part, continues to deny the evidence of his own eyes as well as his own culpability in the violence that has stricken Los Angeles since the weekend. In a glitchy address for which half the sound was missing, Newsom last night alternately ranted and evaded his duties as California’s governor in a televised address.
Tear gas, flash bangs, and people getting hurt are what happen when people attack law enforcement agents, especially when in the course of doing their duty.
And the media reporting makes it clear that Gavin Newsom was simply lying in his efforts to blame President Trump for the California Insurrection. As a reporter writing in The Bulwark confirmed, the riot response was just that—a response:
A protester threw a desk chair at an entrance to the detention center, prompting agents to launch a fusillade of pepper balls and rubber bullets. Mena was hit with a pepper ball projectile on her upper-left thigh, leaving a nasty bruise and the dark realization that this would be unlike any protest she’d covered before.
Gee, throwing a desk chair gets a bunch of pepper balls and rubber bullets sent downrange. Who seriously could not see that coming?
That same reporter confirmed that Los Angeles is indeed rife with illegal aliens.
Mena has her reasons to believe this. As she noted, Los Angeles “has a longstanding history of large protests going back to the civil rights era.” The city is also filled with immigrants. “Everyone knows someone who isn’t authorized to be in this country, so this hits home for Angelos because immigrants are the lifeblood of our city.”
This is going to come as a shock to the rebels without a clue in California, but if you aren’t “authorized” you shouldn’t be here. The Constitution says as much, as it tasks Congress with regulating both foreign commerce and the process of naturalization.
To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;
To establish a uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;
In other words, the Constitution explicitly removes any notion that any non-citizen has an inalienable right to enter into this country. There is no debate to be had on the point.
Consequently, if you are not “authorized”—if you are in this country illegally—it is the duty of Immigration and Customs Enforcement to apprehend you and deport you. This is exactly what ICE has been doing. This is exactly what people turned out ostensibly to “protest” but really to violently obstruct.
Let there be no misunderstanding here. People are not required to like what ICE is doing. People are allowed to protest and speak out if they do not like what ICE is doing.
People have a First Amendment right to peaceably assemble.
People have a First Amendment right to speak their minds.
People have a First Amendment right to petition for redress of grievances, and to advocate for such policies as they believe are proper for this country.
People have these rights, and they should utilize them.
The Democrats are not protesting, however, they are rioting.
The Democrats are not peaceably assembling, they are engaging in insurrection and violence.
The Democrats are not speaking their minds, they are attacking people—law enforcement and ICE especially.
The Democrats are not petitioning for redress of grievances. They are not even articulating what policies they want for this country. Their rhetoric gets as far as “But…But…Trump! Orange Man Bad!” and goes no further.
This needs to go no further. The time for “nuance” and “debate” and “discussion” has ended. This anarchic violence needs to end and it needs to end now.
Period.
End of Sentence.
End of Discussion.
Perhaps you disagree with this. If so, understand a few things:
If you are among those calling the violence in Los Angeles a “mostly peaceful protest”, you are either a liar or a moron. In either case you are not to be taken seriously.
If you are among those calling for more violence and more insurrection, you are by definition an insurrectionist, and provably so.
If you are among those defending those who have engaged in violence—as multiple Democratic politicians have done, with Nancy Pelosi dismissing it as “exhuberance of the moment”, and Mad Maxine Waters claiming that since no one was shot, there was no violence—you are by definition an insurrectionist, and provably so.
Gavin Newsom defends the violence. Nancy Pelosi defends the violence. Maxine Waters defends the violence. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass defends the violence.
That makes the violence Democrat violence. They encouraged it, they defend it, and they are continuing to promote it.
This is Democrat violence, and therefore this is a Democrat Insurrection. That is what is being promoted for this coming weekend: a Democrat-led attack on any semblance of law and order.
It needs to not happen. If it does happen governors in every state (including California) have a duty to the citizens of every state to put the insurrection down.
Let there be no misunderstanding. All of this has been catalyzed and set in motion by Democrats.
The Democrats have done this.
The Democrats own this.
The Democrats are the party of violence.
I’m so glad your Governor Abbott is such a sensible man. We need more leaders like him!
And I think it’s important that the American people hear, loudly and often, who exactly is funding organizations such as 50501 and CHIRLA - Soros, CCP, et al. Shame on corporate media for ignoring that little matter.
Thank you, Peter, for consistently standing up and going voice to truth. Magnificent Man!
And it's totally grassroots, man.
Wait... are the roots of grass supposed to be also green?
