Actually, I've been puttering around with comparisons of the adjusted vs unadjusted data from both the Household and Establishment Surveys, and at first glance, there does appear to be a political alignment to how the data is being handled. If further analysis supports the correlation I'll be doing a write up of that in the near future.
Methinks they want a higher unemployment rate around 6-8% as a target set by the fed.
Half the actual inflation rate too? Just sayin’...
If they wanted a higher unemployment rate all they have to do is report the data honestly.
But that would make the current resident of the White House, and his party, which controlled both Houses of Congress until a few days ago look bad.
