As do I. As, I'm sure, do we all.

The best outcome of all would be to finally shed the Left-Right and Democrat-Republican polarities that distort our politics, in favor of the more reality-based authoritarian-libertarian axis I see presented by Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

I dare hope!

I have printed his speech out. I’d like to give it to others as I think people my age would rather read on paper like a real book. Online reading is distracting past a certain length. This was beyond excellent and thanks for your commentary and the links to your other posts concerning this. A keeper. I’ll vote for wherever Bobby lands. There is true power in his words. “ It’s the children, stupid”. To coin a phrase. The “villages” are failing them. The hell of child trans ideology is in my close family and the chronic diseases it promotes.

Hi Janet - I was empathizing with your despair the other day, in your previous post, and wanted to add: remember how we spent our entire youth worrying about nuclear Armageddon? For years, it was ‘one minute to midnight’ on the clock of mutual destruction from atomic weapons - but here we are decades later and the destruction still hasn’t happened! We thought we’d never get to live our full lifespan, that it was a hopeless situation. But the lesson of life is that things seldom turn out the way you think they will, so there is still hope for a brighter future for America. Let’s keep working to make that happen!

It IS possible for us Americans to be united again! For the most part, we want the same things. But we are misinformed and misguided by the MSM, along with corporate and political interests.

My own sense is that a great many people find merit in what Kennedy has been saying. We agree with him that food has become toxic, government corrupt, and Americans unhealthy. Not many people would give their vote to Kennedy, but that’s because people are realistic enough to know that here in American it IS a two-party contest, so a vote for Kennedy is ‘throwing away’ your vote. But people have been listening to Kennedy and resonating with his message.

In emails that his team has sent, Kennedy has shown polling results that show he has quite a bit of support. When polls asked who would you vote for if the choice was Kennedy or Trump, or if it was Kennedy or Biden, Kennedy received around 40-45 %! This means, I believe, that Kennedy throwing his support to Trump is going to significantly increase Trump’s chances of victory. The equation has shifted in his favor.

Also, Kennedy has just taken all the momentum away from the DNC! That event is just yesterday’s stale nothingness now. (As opposed to the FRESH nothingness it was yesterday.) Trump’s hand has just been strengthened, and Harris has nothing but low cards. Go, Trump and Kennedy!

I'm in agreement with what you've posted Gb.

Still, there's a major speed bump on the path you envision, and it's by no means a trivial one either:

Just as the three airlines were hijacked the morning of 9/11 very close now to 23 years ago, the Dems (along with some RINOS) have hijacked the election process to the point we can not be sure of who comes out ahead once all the 'votes' have been tallied.

You’re right! I’ve read numerous accounts of the ways that Democrats will cheat in the election, and it’s kept me awake at night. It’s truly a dire situation. The only way for Trump to surmount the fraud is to get so many votes that they cancel out and surpass the stolen votes. So, for anyone out there thinking “It’s a Uniparty, why bother to vote”, hey, this time. it MATTERS. Vote for the lesser of two evils, if you view it that way, but please VOTE - every vote for Trump Is crucial to overcome the fraud. Your vote really would ‘save democracy’. Don’t let the cheaters win!
