My wife was listening but i wasn't. I did catch him mumbling something about Jan 6 as I walked past her as listened on her phone. I wondered why is he bringing that up? If the goal to unify why in the world would you rehash that? It's a divisive leitmotif.

I heard that the sniper - Jonathan Willis - who took out the shooter - had him in sights for three minutes but the head of the SS refused to give the order to shoot.

If this is true, this is really bad. A man lies dead. A family broken. Was it incompetence? Was she following orders herself? Unreal.

The ruling class and the shooter had the same goal: ending DJT’s life. Biden and his ilk are trying to put DJT in jail for the rest of his life. In other words, their plan is to use “legitimate” government machinery (which they completely control) to end DJT’s life in disgrace. The shooter, however, confounded that plan. Had he been successful and ended DJT’s life, DJT would have been a martyr. But now it’s even worse: DJT survived and is a martyr. This state of affairs is what the ruling class truly regrets. And, it is the only reason they are now denouncing “political violence” (a phrase that certainly does not encompass their sinister plan to imprison DJT for life).

That said, I hope all pray for the innocents who were killed and maimed in this brutal event.

You're probably not far off the mark, especially given the fairly detailed deconstruction of the lawfare strategy deployed against Donald Trump by the House Judiciary Committee.

https://newsletter.allfactsmatter.us/p/congress-condemns-lawfare-persecution

The great danger here for everyone is that the ruling class is like a decompensating psychotic. All their "go-to" mechanisms are failing them: corporate media has turned on Joe Biden; lawfare has failed to neutralize Trump, core Democrat constituencies are migrating to Donald Trump...at every turn their usual way of dealing with problems simply no longer works.

Expect the regime's responses to become more and more unhinged over time, especially if Biden hangs on and gets the nomination next month.

Under the circumstances, I cannot fathom DJT taking a post-event telephone call from Biden — Biden and his third world cronies literally want DJT to die in jail.

Donald Trump has been in hostile negotiations before. He'd absolutely take the phone call. That would be perfectly in keeping with his personality.

He waited 2 hours to deliver THAT!

The press secretary, and he doesn't have a winner there either, could have delivered a better report!

My thoughts exactly.

I've done crisis communications, and a major part of showing that you are in command of a situation is being willing to delegate perfunctory briefings to subordinates. The man at the top only takes charge of the briefing when there's something substantial to say.

This is what people need to understand about this Democratic administration: THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. From top to bottom, this regime is riddled with incompetence.

Anyone believing that there is a puppetmaster behind the scenes is failing to take into consideration the complete ineptitude of the administration. These people just aren't that capable or that smart.

But they are that crooked!

Of course they are. That’s the real problem people should have with this administation—they are thoroughly corrupt just as the Clinton’s were but they completely lack the particular psychopathic genius of both Bill and Hillary Clinton.

The most objectionable crooks are always the dumb ones. These are some seriously dumb crooks.

That was my reaction exactly - “why did Biden even bother?” Complete waste of my time, and an insult to a nation expecting to hear some kind of significant leadership from our President.

Go back to your nap, Joe.

Addresses by Biden are no longer relevant to me. It seems everything meant for our perception by the powers that be is a performance event for entertainment instead of dissemination of valuable information

Most political addresses are generally of questionable relevance, but in this regard they do help illuminate two key aspects of the ongoing psychodrama: 1) we get to see whether Biden is having a "good day" or a "bad day"; 2) We can gauge whether their strategic thinking is acquiring any depth.

Biden had a good day today. If he keeps sounding like this he will silence calls for him to step down from the nomination.

Unfortunately for the Democrats, the Administration has no depth to their strategic thinking. Amazingly, they are on the back foot regarding the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
