If I recall correctly, one of the purported strengths of mRNA vaccines from way back in the halcyon days of spring/summer 2020 was that they could be rapidly re-engineered to create variant-specific vaccines for any new variants that arose. Was this just misplaced optimism or yet another lie from the serial liars that have infected the medical agencies since the start of the pandemic? Clearly that has not happened.
Isn't this the reason we were told that there was never a vaccine available for the common cold? Perhaps we should be looking at ways to neutralize viruses as they enter our nasal cavity or throat? Try gargling with an alcohol based mouthwash a couple of times per day and using a nasal spray with povidone iodine. Of course this "may" not make big pharma very much money...
