While I generally refrain from making specific healthcare recommendations, I will comment that there is an abundance of research on the role of vitamin D supplementation in strengthening the immune system, and in particular increasing resistance to infectious respiratory disease.

Yes...excellent advice...and both are taking good daily amts. of it. I've made it my business to inform them as we have so little sun up here in the Canadian winter. I'm sure I made it through the last two years because I'm taking 4000 IU a day of Vitamin D3 and 2000 Vit. C. as well as 50mg Zinc. Missing Quercetin... keep looking for it at the pharmacy but it's never there. Have to order it online, I guess. I hear Onions are a good source, so I'm improvising. Thank you for your informative newsletter !.....I'm a new subscriber as someone in another NL referenced your work today and I found myself here and subscribed right away. Thank you for passing on that link which I can use handily. I will pass it along.
