However, neither Xi Jinping nor the leadership cadre at the CCP are looking at the facts and the evidence surrounding Ivermectin and Uttar Pradesh. Arguably, they are not even looking at their own data, which demonstrates the lunacy of lockdowns such as what occurred in Shanghai earlier this year.
Xi has it in his head that lockdowns are necessary to stop the spread of the virus (which they aren't, as they don't do much to halt the spread of the virus), and he is likely to continue as long as he controls the loyalties of most of the Politburo.
They would lose face, but I suspect that Xi Jinping and his inner circle are so delusional they honestly believe that theirs is the better way. At that level of psychosis even face is not a factor.
